Is there a protection against rape?
A South African who works in a blood transfusion service, where she often meets with victims of rape, has imagined the response in the form of a female condom specially designed to protect against that.
The anti-rape condom that fits into the female sexual apparatus is covered on its inner surface of sharp barbs directed inwards.
When the rapist is trapped he feels a sharp pain and surprise, which should allow time for his victim to escape.
It is not possible to remove this trap without surgery, which of course will let the police to be alerted.
This rapist trap is made of latex and is called rape-axe, shortened by RAPEX. The inventor is Sonette Ehlers.
Hopefully women will not abuse of that.
