Renewal of cells by feeding
The study of the role of food in the good cell renewal shows that all starts with nutrient intakes. Especially for energy.
ATP or Adenosine Triphosphate is the fuel of the cell. It is a molecule used by cells for muscle contraction and built from the sugars found in foods.
What food to bring to our cells
Protein
Are broken down into amino acids, which themselves serve as bricks for protein in the body.
Eight essential amino acids must be supplied by food: Isoleucine, Leucine, Lysine, Methionine, Phenylalanine, Threonine, Tryptophan, Valine.
Carbohydrates
The most common is glucose, it serves to build ATP that is the fuel of cells and to build the structure of DNA.
This is done in the mitochondria of cells.
Fat
They serve as energy reserves and to build cell membranes.
Vitamins
They have many properties in the metabolism, and especially that of anti-oxidants. Vitamins A, Beta-carotene, C, E, protect cells against damage by free radicals. B vitamins are involved in energy use.
Trace elements
Iron and copper contribute to the formation of DNA and the synthesis of ATP. Zinc is anti-oxidant.
Minerals
Serve as a regulator to the cell, the pH, the osmotic balance (control of fluid density and exchanges). They participate in chemical reactions. Include calcium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium.
The diet must provide sufficient quantity.
Water
It participates in metabolism and transport of molecules. Specifically, it allows to remove toxins.
Conclusion
The human body is a complex factory that must be maintained carefully. But in fact it can do it naturally, our conscious role is just to provide required materials by a complete and balanced diet and to avoid excesses.
