Gnocchi

It is pronounced 'Nioki' in Italian. The word comes from gnocco which identifies a node (in Venetian). There are as many hypotheses as sources about the origin of the name.
The dish to which we refer may also have different compositions, the most traditional, based on potato, is that we take here.

Ingredients

  • Potato: 100g
  • Flour: 10g
  • Egg: 70g
  • Tomato sauce: 20g
  • Salt:

Ustensiles

    Saucepan.

Preparation


    Boil the potatoes to make mashed potatoes.
    Add the egg yolk.
    Then the flour gradually, stirring.
    A paste is made.
    Form a cylinder 2 cm in diameter.
    Cut into slices.
    Give a rounded shape and streak them with a fork.
    Cook in water 5 minutes.
    Spoon tomato.

Serve


    Warm.
