Its origin is ancient, it comes from the North-East of France, Alsace and Fhance-Compté. It can be made with all kinds of fruits, but apples are more widely used.

Ingredients

  • Bread: 50g
  • Apple: 50g
  • Egg: 25g
  • Milk: 2g
  • Sugar: 5g
  • Lemon: 2g
  • Cinnamon : 1g
  • Vanilla: 1g

    Oven.
    Pie plate.

Preparation


    Crumble the bread.
    Boil milk and pour over bread.
    Cut the fruits into pieces.
    Mix all ingredients including fruits.
    Butter a mold.
    Put the mixture into it.
    Bake 1 hour.

Serve


    Hot or cold.
