In fact there is a trick in the design of this recipe, the sauce is not thick, but the result of deliberate prepared food composition. Just a little flour to produce it.
Carrot is the main vegetable but a part of potatoes must be added which is essential for the final result. Cooked carrots, potatoes, this is very energetic, so should be avoided to abuse as part of a slimness diet, although the dish is very economical and readily available and with a delicious taste.
We do not need to be really strict about the proportions, it is one of the charms of this recipe.
Saffron is also an option, but prunes are essential. One should always have at home, as is it not a food of longevity?
